🎟 General Attendees

Do I need a ticket to attend?
Yes, all attendees must have a general admission ticket for entry.

What does general admission include?
Access to the full event, raffles, vendor shopping, audience voting, and more.

Is there a dress code?
90s attire is highly encouraged! Bring the energy and rep the culture.

Is the event family-friendly?
Yes, This event is open to ages 10 and up. While we welcome youth and teens, babies and small children will not be permitted to ensure a safe and focused environment for participants and guests.

Where can I park?
Street parking is available nearby. Additional details will be emailed before the event.

Will food be available?
Yes! Black-owned food vendors will be on-site serving up delicious options.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, if space allows — but early purchase is highly recommended.

Is re-entry allowed?
Yes, with wristband or hand stamp.

Do I need a model?
Yes. Live models are required for the competition. Their admission is included. Artists may also model their own nails if preferred.

What should I bring?
All tools and materials for your full set, including glue, towels, and display stand.

Can I compete in more than one category?
No, one category per artist based on experience level.

What’s the registration deadline?
May 22, 2025.

Are there trophies or cash prizes?
Yes — trophies for top 3 in each category, and cash prizes with a minimum of 5 competitors.

Will I get content from the event?
We’ll share select media post-event with artists for portfolio use.

Can I sell products at the event?
Only if you’ve also registered as a vendor.

What’s included in the vendor fee?
Your vending space. Table and chair rental available for $30 extra.

Do food vendors need permits?
Yes — submit a Temporary Food Permit by June 1

When is vendor setup?
Setup begins at 9:00 AM and must be complete by 9:45 AM.

Can I bring my own setup?
Yes, you may bring your own table, chairs, and decorations.

Will there be electricity?
Limited. Request in advance and bring your own extension cords/power strips.

Four levels: Freedom, Legacy, Heritage, and Black Excellence.

Yes — flyers, website, email blasts, and social media based on tier.

What can I help with as a volunteer?
Registration, set-up, raffles, vendor support, clean-up, and more.

Do I get free admission?
Yes! Volunteers receive full event access and a thank-you gift.

What time should I arrive?
Volunteers should arrive by 8:30 AM unless told otherwise.

Will food be provided?
Light refreshments will be available, but feel free to bring snacks too.
