🎨 Theme:

90s Theme (Professional Category) – Bold, nostalgic, and iconic!
Juneteenth Theme (Student/Novice Category) – A tribute to culture, freedom, and heritage!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for The Nail Dynasty Show: For the Culture Edition! This event is an exciting celebration of Black Artistry, Beauty, and Entrepreneurship during Juneteenth weekend. Volunteers play a key role in ensuring a smooth, successful, and memorable experience for everyone involved.

Volunteer Responsibilities & Expectations

1. Commitment & Punctuality

   • Volunteers must arrive on time for their assigned shifts.

   • If you are unable to attend or need to adjust your schedule, please notify the event organizers as soon as possible.

2. Professionalism & Conduct

   • Volunteers are expected to be courteous, respectful, and professional at all times.

   • You will be representing the event and its mission—please conduct yourself in a way that reflects positively on the Black business and beauty community.

3. Assigned Roles & Flexibility

   • Volunteers will be assigned specific duties based on the event’s needs and their selected preferences.

   • Tasks may include:

     • Setup & Breakdown Crew – Assist with setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, decorations, and event materials.

     • Registration & Check-In – Greet guests, verify tickets, and provide wristbands or event materials.

     • Guest Services – Assist attendees with event details, directions, and general inquiries.

     • Nail Artist Liaison – Support competitors with setup, answer questions, and ensure smooth transitions.

     • Timekeeper – Keep track of competition timing and provide updates for competitors.

     • Audience Voting Coordinator – Distribute and collect audience voting ballots for the Freestyle Champion.

     • Vendor Relations – Help vendors with setup, answer questions, and provide event materials.

     • Sponsor Support – Assist sponsors with setup, branding placement, and event recognition.

     • Social Media Content Creator – Capture event highlights through photos, videos, and live social media updates.

     • Photography/Videography Assistant – Support media personnel in capturing key moments.

     • Fashion Show Assistant – Help models and artists prepare for the runway segment, assist with lineup and transitions.

     • Raffle & Giveaway Assistant – Manage raffle tickets, announce winners, and distribute prizes.

     • Runner/Floater – Assist with various event needs as they arise.

   • Volunteers should be willing to assist where needed to help ensure the success of the event.

4. Dress Code

   • Volunteers should wear comfortable, professional attire that aligns with the event's Juneteenth and 90s celebration theme.

   • Closed-toe shoes may be required for certain roles.

5. Breaks & Meals

   • Volunteers will be provided with designated break times.

   • Meals and refreshments may be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own snacks if needed.

6. Liability & Responsibility

   • Volunteers agree that The Nail Dynasty, JB The Nail Therapist, Amazing K Nails, and Joyce’s Legacy Learning Center are not responsible for any injuries, lost or stolen items, or damages that may occur during the event.

   • Volunteers should take care of personal belongings and follow all event safety guidelines.

7. Media Release

   • By volunteering, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded during the event.

   • Event organizers may use these materials for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes without additional consent or compensation.

8. Event Cancellation or Changes

   • Event organizers reserve the right to modify event details, volunteer assignments, or schedules if necessary.

   • Volunteers will be notified as soon as possible regarding any major event changes.

By submitting your volunteer registration, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions above. You understand your role, responsibilities, and expectations as a volunteer and commit to upholding the integrity of The Nail Dynasty Show: For the Culture Edition.
